Camp Captain 

Rachel aka Riot, the president and founder of CampOUT is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in LGBTQ+ population and trauma therapy utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As a therapist with a bleeding heart for queer youth and seeing the need, Rachel put together an awesome team of passionate individuals to make CampOUT a reality.

Dr. Sara Flory aka Diddy is an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida in the Physical Education Teacher Education program. She enjoys being active and helping others find joy in movement. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her husband and pets! Diddy has a 3 dog plan.

Fun Runner

Leah Burger is a teacher and doctoral student at the University of South Florida with a concentration in youth literacy. Despite all the reading, her first love is bringing the outdoors to the kids in a fun and inclusive way. She can be regularly seen playing games, singing songs, or laughing at jokes.

Multi Media Mastermind

Do you ever feel the need to roller skate into the night? How about jam to music that's way too loud? or play videogames / watch anime for 10 hours straight? Sounds cool right? Well.. Sam is your person to meet! they're a pro when it comes to technology repair and customization, and enjoy a challenge in regards to new projects. Sam is a semi professional roller derby player, enjoys being active, and dressing up in cosplay outfits! 

Sam is a non-binary trans masculine person, however - doesn't mind he/him pronouns either.

Fox Mello is the lucky parent of a charismatic 10 year old, and a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a Medical Massage Therapist, Fox is    amped to bring 10 years of experience offering theraputic services in a safe and inclusive space, and a lifelong career of making sound effects and storytelling to CampOUT!

Rainbow Nurse

Carol is CampOUTs head nurse. She was born and raised in Florida (one of the few) and is a full time Registered Nurse. Carol is also certified in VA-BC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. She is eager to learn and grow to continue helping and embracing people of all backgrounds. When Carol isn't working you can catch her distressing on her motorcycle

Networking Queen

Paris Adams is CampOUT’s Community Outreach Specialist, she has over 15+ years of experience in childcare & educational settings. With a passion for guiding youth to be expressive and creative, she specializes in working with children with special needs & differently abled youth. Paris is also the founder of OUTLANDISH, LLC. A black owned, woman owned, queer owned small business founded on diversity and inclusion. Outlandish creates custom clothing with a focus on people from the LGBTQ+ community, Women, BIPOC, and individuals from suppressed communities & minorities.
