Our positions are highly sought after, and competition is fierce. We'll kick off the interview process in January, with final decisions made by March. Camp Medic
The Camp Medic position at CampOUT is pivotal for safeguarding the health and well-being of campers and staff. It demands a blend of medical proficiency, compassion, and the capability to respond adeptly to diverse health-related situations, including the responsible distribution of medications to campers. Your role plays a vital part in establishing a secure and caring camp environment.
Camp Mental Health Professional
As a Camp Mental Health Worker, your primary responsibility is to monitor the emotional well-being of all campers and provide support to the camp community during the camp session. Your role involves assisting individuals in eliminating or replacing ineffective or disruptive behaviors with appropriate and positive actions.
Camp Life Guard
The Lifeguard at CampOUT plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of campers and staff during aquatic activities. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining a safe swimming environment, responding to emergencies, and promoting water safety at all times.
Counselor in Training
As a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) at CampOUT, your role encompasses assisting in the setup and breakdown of camp activities, maintaining and organizing the campout closet, running the snack shack, providing assistance to program managers, and ensuring water jugs are kept full in all sections throughout the day.
Senior Camp Counselor
As a Senior Camp Counselor at CampOUT, your primary responsibility is to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for campers while also providing leadership and support to fellow counselors. In addition to your on-site duties, you will be responsible for hosting Zoom meetings with campers leading up to camp and addressing staff behavioral concerns. This position is for returning CampOUT staff only
Camp Admin
The Administrative Assistant at CampOUT plays a vital role in supporting the camp's operational and administrative functions. This position is responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of camp activities and assisting with various camp-related administrative duties.
Content Creator
As a Content Creator at CampOUT, your primary responsibility is to capture and create engaging visual and written content that reflects the camp's unique spirit, culture, and activities. You will help document and share the camp experience with campers, parents, and the wider community through various media channels. Additionally, you will work with the camp platform, ensuring daily uploads of photos and videos, and collaborate to create content with sponsors.
